Trailer Explanations

Trailer Explanations

I have used the green certification screen to give the trailer a more professional look about it and same goes for the production logo that I have created on macromedia fireworks.

I have used the effect of fading from certain scenes of the trailer to the other which works very well, especially when time has passed over either a short or long period.

I have also added a quote which says “Best British Film of the year” which comes when locations change which gives great effect and makes the trailer look very professional.

Unlike the conventional narrative theory of Todorov, my trailer starts and ends with the audience guessing what is happening or what is going to happen next. I believe that trailers should definitely end this way so the audience are still enticed and want to watch the whole film. The film finishes with the main character ‘Baz’ running from the shop he has just stolen from. This is how I had the audience ask questions about my trailer as they want to know if he will get away with the money and how he will do it.

Movie titles - Completed

This is the image that will appear at the end of my film trailer showing who played part in the making of it. I have made the names larger to stand out more and used a less blured image of the UK film council logo. Also adding a website in for the film itself makes it look authentic.

Movie Titles- End of Trailer changes

From the last one of these that i made, i missed out the word 'starring' before the actors names which makes it less professional overall, so this is why i changed this.

movie titles - end of film trailer

I have created this above to finish off my film trailer and add that final professional look to the trailer. I have made the film name 'decision' stand out and used a font i found online to give the look of a real film trailer with the titles. I have also added logos at the bottom which makes it look so much better and professional for the simplicity of it.
